RetailTRAK™ June 2009 - Running Specialty Retail Sales

Totaling $61M and up 5% in June over June sales, Running Specialty retail sales continued comfortably outpacing the general retail economy. Year-to-date sales, totaling $336M, were ahead of the same period last year by 4% For the 12 month period (July 08 – June 09) all Running Specialty store sales totaled $654M, a 4% increase over the previous twelve-month period (July 07 – June 08) Comparing dollars sales this June to last:

• All Footwear: +4%
• Road Running Shoes +3%
  • Neutral/Cushion Shoes +16
  • Stability Shoes -2%
  • Motion Control Shoes -13%
• All Apparel -4%
• Sportswear -4%
• All Accessories +13%
