Active Americans' consumer spending "freeze" is beginning to thaw.
Most Active Americans Panel™ (MAAP™) - October 2009
In Leisure Trends Group's annual survey about Active Americans and their holiday shopping plans, Active Americans were asked about their spending plans on gifts this holiday season.
Comparing this year's responses to last year's, the results show that Active Americans are feeling more optimistic this year. On average, Active Americans plan to spend $65 (or 13%) more this holiday season on sports, recreation and fitness products and services than their estimated spend before last year’s holidays.
