Position Summary:

The Direct Marketing Coordinator assists the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) department with the production of database, email and direct mail projects.  This position coordinates the work flow of assigned projects within LTG, with clients and with outside vendors.  The candidate will liaise with various LTG departments and coordinate project efforts with staff and vendors in both Colorado and Vermont.  The Coordinator will act as the "right hand" of the Gen. Mgr. and Account Management Specialist, becoming intimately familiar with the direct marketing business, including graphic design, print production, mail processing and postal regulations, email applications, and strategy and database marketing best practices.

Essential Functions:

  • Coordinate CRM projects related to direct mail, email, database management, product registration, and general project management for the department.
  • Prepare and monitor multiple project schedules, from inception to completion.  Steps in this process may include, but are not limited to, obtaining bids/quotes and client approvals, proofing copy and artwork, ensuring on-time delivery of materials, verifying accurate completion of project deliverables, proper filing of samples, and coordination of client follow-up.
  • Coordinate internal operations for ongoing direct mail retention program, including tracking data entry and mailing list preparation.
  • Attain and maintain complete knowledge of internal marketing tools.
  • Assist with client set-up and list management, including database loads, pulls, updates and data entry projects.
  • Update internal workflow spreadsheets as assigned. 
  • Seek out and communicate opportunities for clients to use their data more wisely.
  • Correspond with clients in a proactive manner to assure that LTG provides all the services needed. 
  • Communicate with clarity and integrity to coworkers and clients.

Minimum Job Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Experience: Minimum 2 years experience in Direct Marketing and working within a database environment.

Specialized Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Thorough knowledge of email and social networking applications, database concepts and strategies, and printing and mail fulfillment services.
  • Proficient with the MS Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and use of a contact database such as ACT.
  • Outstanding listening and communication skills (written and oral) with a firm grasp of grammar and spelling.
  • Superb time-management and organizational skills, with a strong focus on managing details, accuracy, and deadlines.
  • Aptitude for prioritizing and managing multiple projects in a fast-paced atmosphere.
  • Ability to be flexible and decipher where it is appropriate to seek guidance.
  • Must be highly customer service oriented.
