As an intern at LTG, you could gain familiarity with…

Consumer Research:

  • Survey panel development - Our Most Active Americans Panel TM (MAAP TM) is a group of alpha consumers and a very powerful research tool. Recruit new members and reduce attrition by utilizing social media and other techniques.
  • Survey testing - Take the surveys that we design for our clients and give us your feedback.
  • Report generation, proofreading and data verification - Input new wave data into recurring reports. During the editing process, read the final reports we deliver to clients.
  • Focus groups - See how the respondent profiling process works and be involved in correspondence and scheduling the participants.
  • Prize management - We give away prizes to survey participants. Learn the whole process from writing survey invitations to delivering the rewards.

Sales & Marketing:

  • Lead generation and direct mail administration - We'll show you how sales develop from the ground up. Create leads and help decipher if they are worth our cost to cultivate the business relationship.
  • Marketing materials - Develop collateral pieces and spearhead the archival of our press clippings.
  • Contact management - Our contact database is the lifeblood of our sales department. Learn how it works and what it takes to keep it current, accurate and valuable.


An internship at LTG will have you working directly with real projects for real clients. We are hands on. Everyone here has some administrative responsibilities, as well as involvement in the big picture. You’ll get familiar with an office environment, and correspond with a range of internal departments and levels of management.

Our team of 36 people works out of an office in Boulder. It’s a professional environment that is service and customer oriented. We thrive by working as a team and staying engaged with our clients and their needs.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a friendly, positive attitude.
  • Must be organized and detail oriented.
  • Must have analytical skills and be inquisitive - be comfortable with numbers/spreadsheet and be able to think creatively to synthesize information and understand the implications.
  • Must be able to communicate with clarity and integrity, both orally and in writing.
  • Expert in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Familiarity with statistical packages and social media is a plus. 
  • Prefer Market Research or Marketing/Communications majors or equivalent. Coursework related to business, marketing, research, economics, and/or English helpful.

This is a for-credit internship that includes a $200 shopping spree in our prize closet. Students, recent graduates, or change of career applicants are welcome. The ideal candidate would be able to work 20 hours a week or more, but the number of hours and structure of this position are flexible. Our normal business hours are M-F 9am -6pm. This position is on-site; offsite projects are open for discussion.
