Must Have Information for the Cycling Market - Trending Data NOW available
Cycling RetailTRAK™ Boulder, CO - Leisure Trends Group (LTG) now has true trend data available for the cycling market. Starting with sales in January 2009 and ending with the current month, brands can compare sales:
- month over month
- quarter to quarter
- Year to date
Tracking growth and/or decline at the category, class, brand and model level opens up a new level of analysis and deepens insight into what is happening in the IBDs (independent bike dealers).
"The ability to look at a full year of data and to make growth, brand share and category comparisons brings LTG's RetailTRAK services from the realm of need-to-have to must-have," said Roger Gierhart, Trek Bicycle Corporation.
The current bike panel is comprised of 273 IBDs across the US. While LTG is still accepting new retailers to the panel.... "The response from Independent Bicycle Dealers has been overwhelmingly enthusiastic,' said LTG Retail Relations Manager, Greg Shoenfeld. "Many of the most respected IBD's in the country recognize that the data has helped them improve the way they do business. We are thrilled with their validation of our efforts to provide actionable information."
Along with the addition of historical data, Leisure Trends Group improved our projections and retrofitted all existing data with our new model and the addition of our newer stores’ data. The new model contains several updates to increase accuracy, including more stores on the panel, and improved regional projections, which allow for fluctuations due to weather, seasonality and other geographically-influenced factors.
